Beauty Center

A beauty center and a pharmacy share one pink plastered shell, told apart only by function, on a dense Tangerang street.
On a tight street edge in dense Tangerang, Beauty Center carries two programs under one roof — a beauty center and a pharmacy — sharing a single dusty-pink plastered shell rather than splitting into two separate storefronts.
The massing is almost entirely rectilinear, except for one cylindrical volume that pushes up through the roofline, curved against an otherwise square composition. It's a deliberate, singular gesture — the one form the building is meant to be recognized by.

At street level, glazing is pulled back under a covered arcade, softened by a strip of ornamental grasses in the same pink tone as the walls above — shade and depth at the base, rather than glass pressed flat against the sidewalk.
Inside, the plaster continues unbroken; the curved volume reappears as an interior wall, met by a built-in terrazzo-topped bench under a deep daylight reveal. Pharmacy and beauty-center program sit inside the same envelope, told apart by function, not material.
Beauty Center resolves its double program not by division but by continuity — one shell, one curve, two counters working legibly inside it, on a street where legibility itself is scarce.
